Thats one reason I don't think there is a second parrot in our lives. Salty has a great bond with me, a good bond with my son, and he is improving his bond with my wife, giving her kisses in the AM and starting to let her scratch him a bit. A 2nd parrot would mean less time with Salty and I think that would break his heart. He is so much a part of our fmily now, he is right in the middle of things, with his overhead play chains and hanging boing /feeding bowls. He always eats dinner with us and he can count on us to do his training time every night at 8:45PM, with either me or Geri if i am out of town. Its rare that training timeis skipped forsome reason ( happens oh 5-6 times a year) he acts hurt and is vexed the next day. He knows that every day the sun will rise and that Daddy will spend training timewith him.
