New sun conure

Hello! I've had my new sun conure for about a week now. What a personality these little things have! We chose Rockefeller for a name and Rocka for short.

Thanks not sure if its a he or she eat lol but I've been calling it a her. Just has that diva attitude. She's so sweet, has never bitten, and loves giving kisses

Rocka is getting increasingly needy. If I go on the patio se flies off the perch and comes to the door screaming at me.

It's kind of funny, Rocka does not like the dog. She has gotten off her perch and chased her around the room hissing. Lol

Thats hysterical... My dog is so large he would eat Chico if he tried to do that.

I remember back when I had a cat my Sun Dunkin would chase the cat out of the room. Once the cat was trying to run away in the living room and Dunkin chased her down and in id flight he grabbed the cat's tail. She the cat was running and the Bird was flying holding on to the cat's tail. This only lasted a moment before he leg go and the cat ducked behind a chair.

The dog is obsessed with the bird for some reason. If I have Rocka on my shoulder on the couch, the dog gets in my lap with her head up close. Rocka starts bobbing and weaving around with her beak open darting at the dog to bite her nose.
