new sun, how do i get them to get along?

i got a new sun to go with my green cheek, but they dont get along. what can i do to try and get them to get along? i have a very large cage i would like to house both of them in. play time outside f the cage they are mostly ok but just once and a while they fight. do i let them fight it out or .... i dont even know?

My sun and dusky don't like each other. My dusky is very protective of me. She will not let my sun near me. My poor sun acts afraid. I was hoping I'd be able to house them in the same cage at one point but I've pretty much given up that idea. I take them out together a little bit each day hoping they'll at least get along with each other just enough that I can take both out all the time instead of one at a time while the other screams their head off. I guess you could maybe give them time to get used to each other before throwing them in the same cage. I wouldn't want one of them to get hurt :'(

A good friend of mine suggested to me to slowly move their cages closer together, eg have them on opposite ends of the room and then weekly move them closer to each other. A long and slow process, but it will get them used to each other nice and slowly and might remove any threat that one may feel from the other. Is it the GC who is being nasty to the Sun or vice versa? Remember the GC is going to be feeling as though the Sun is invading his/her home and wanting to assert his/her dominance most likely.

Just take it very slowly and remember that not all birds will bond, but I will cross my fingers that these two do eventually

I hope you have separate cages for both the birds. As mentioned, they may never get along.
