Hi everyone! I've enjoyed reading some of the posts and decided to join! I have a Timneh African Grey Parrot named Beamer, who has quite an extensive vocabulary. We "aquired" him when my mother-in-law moved in with us years ago. Sadly, she passed away unexpectedly two years ago. So the total care of Beamer became our responsibility. Back then, we could tell Beamer was missing our mom just as much as we did. Although he tolerated my husband and son, he liked my daughters and women in general best. But the funny thing is he became attached to my husband! Beamer knows when his car comes up the drive and calls out to him! :11: :07:
We are looking forward to being a part of this community and reading the interesting stories from other parrot lovers!

has morned his loss and has also found solace in your family's love for him.

Looks alot like my bird!! I have a 3 year old TAG named Rosie. Beamer looks to be in good feather. Here is a great site to learn about their many and sometimes complex needs.
