Just wanted to do a quick intro on myself. My name is Amber, I am 29. I live in North Carolina, America. I post on other Avian forums, but wanted to venture out a bit, and meet some new people, and so here I am! I like to consider myself very parrot literate

I have worked with birds since I was old enough to have a job, and grew up with a Moluccan Too, and a CAG as siblings LOL. I have several birds as of now. I have 3 Cockatiels, 2 of which were rescues. They are 15 years old. I have a Sun Conure named Charlie, a Quaker Parrot named Kiwi that I hand raised, a Parrotlet named Lily (aka LilyPad), a budgie named Splash, a CAG that is being hand fed by the breeder, and then shipped to me once the abundance weaning is done. He is now 7 weeks old, and his name is Grimm. I have also fostered many birds, most being large parrots like Toos' and Macaws. I am going to pick up a rescue Umbrella Cockatoo on December 22nd, but I think that I will be adopting him, instead of fostering. His name is Barnaby, and he is a sweetheart. I also have 2 cats that were rescued by me. Their mother was hit by a car, and they were 3 weeks old and almost dead from starvation. I took them in, and you would never know anything happened to them if I didn't tell you. They are now 6-7 moths old. I absolutely LOVE animals, and also have EXTENSIVE knowledge with Chameleons. I used to raise and breed Panther Chameleons, but got out of this hobby when I had my last child. I am also huge into music, and art. Music brought me to the man I am married to, the love of my life (human that is). Anyhow, that is me in a nutshell and I look forward to chatting with all of you! :white1:
