new toys for my beautiful boys

well today i decided it was time to get creative and make some new toys.

i love the fact that i can get the perfect sized pine for only $1.45m and the birds do too. today i bought 5m. that outta last a while (i didnt use it all today)

just a few blocks

and of course i forgot gloves (also splashes down my legs)

here are the finished products (oxy couldnt wait for some and photo bombed)

my boys also love bottle lids but im tired of having to pick them up all day

as soon as the new toys were hung in the cage they were in playing with them

well thats their main cage done for a bit, now tomorrow i guess i need to brighen up the playstand and play/ fresh air cage.

i just need to get some more supplies like beads etc.... but in the maen time tgey love bottle caps, cards, dice and basically anything else i let them chew on. i wish i had gotten a pic of oxy wgilst i was making them, he sat on his cage the entire time staring intently

My birds love bottle caps too. I bought a toy that was all bottle caps kinda the same idea as your wood toy .I think they used a dremmel and thread the caps through.I like mine it keeps them spaced apart enoough to get their beak at. Just an idea

another day busy making toys. this time for playstand

oxy was so hapoy when this one was finished.

but didnt take long till he turned it into a floor toy

I need to do the same for my flock. I love the foraging idea with bottle caps! I'll have to try that one.

they all look so great! i wish i could make better toys:/ cooper likes them but not as much of some of his other toys. and they dont look nearly as good(that really doesnt matter, just saying)
