Hey all!
Recently, due to the health crisis, my husband and I have been either let go or working from home, meaning my four year old Alexandrine has been surrounded by her People for a solid month now. Normally she is pretty quiet unless she wants something-- like she's ready for bed or needs someone to come stand by her cage and talk to her for a bit, but recently she has gotten used to people being around and has started screaming WHENEVER we leave her in the room alone.
Our place is quite small-- a one bedroom with a kitchen and a living room (which is where she's located, as the bedroom has a poisonous cactus in it and no room for a large cage), so it isn't exactly easy to just... Hang out elsewhere at this time.
Any tips on getting her used to being alone from time to time? Eventually things will go back to nortmal and she'll need to get used to being alone while we're at work again.
