no tail

We aquired a baby parakeet yesterday and it's wings are clipped, but also it's tail is pretty much gone. It looks like a lovebird tail. Will this grow back in? Poor thing really wants to fly.

It's tail will grow back in during it's next molt. Our albino was always losing her tail feathers but she gets them back soon enough
