hey everyone. Today or tomorrow I'm going to put my cat Number 5 to sleep
(we call him Number 5 because he was the 5th of the litter we caught, it is his real name, he is not a number to us that's just what we call him, he is beloved family member). He has a severe urinary blockage and he is on a catheter. If this works the next step is a surgery costing thousands of dollars my family doesn't have. The surgery is also very risky because the anesthesia could kill him in his condition. This is the second time he blocked up, the vet said it gets worse very time. He is getting worse, and even if we could afford the cost of all this, it still might not help, so we have decided to put him down. This is the second time I am putting a cat to sleep and the second time he got blocked up. Number five is the sweetest cat in the world, I cant remember him ever hissing at us, and not once did he even try to scratch us. He is terribly shy, so skittish you wouldn't believe it (we took him from outside when he was a kitten, he never really tamed down). Ever so often he would let you pet him and be the sweetest thing in the world. he would purr like a lion and let you pet him, but only very early in the morning and very late at night. Him and best friend/brother kieran are inseparable, never one without the other. I will miss him so much and this is so sudden, I'll update you guys when i get back.
