Here's Buddy the day he came to our house, surrounded by nut shells on our guest room bed! It actually ended up being kind of a fiasco because when we had originally contacted his owner's husband, he mentioned that Buddy's cage would come with him. However, when we showed up to get him, his cage was positioned such that it would have disturbed his owner to move it, so we just took a giant bird with no cage. We knew there was a bird shop about 45 mins from us that had a good-sized enclosure, so we left him at home with our teen and busted our butts to get to the store in time. We bought the enclosure, disassembled it, barely fit it into our vehicle, then got home and reassembled it, so poor Budster didn't have a cage until almost 10 PM (we could have had him in one of our other bird's cages if we absolutely had to but wanted to avoid displacing anyone if we could).
