It's official, I will soon be slave to a baby Yellow Nape, I will be picking him/her up on Friday and I am SOOOOOO excited. So of course I will share pics once he arrives.

Names...I am thinking I want to do something fun like "Be Bop" or "Diddy Bop" or some other name that will work for either sex. Do you all have any ideas of fun unisex names? Share them please!

My first bird ever that is the reason I love birds so much today was named "Diddy".
So if you want to take any more names from me, I think Diddy Bop is a wonderful name!
Unfortunately I'm not very unique when it comes to names(Diddy came to me named.) so I don't have too many ideas to throw at you. But I'm sure whatever you choose will be perfect for your new fid!!

Haha! I feel you!!! I was walking past the pet shop during lunch 2 weeks ago and ended up with a juvenile YNA and taking urgent half day leave to set up my home...My PA nearly fainted after learning that I did all that for Zoro... Zon fever is in the air!!!

I have never had a baby flown in so it's safe to say I am FREAKING out over it! I am glad it is happening tomorrow because I really don't think I could handle thinking and obsessing over it for longer than that. I had nightmares last night about the baby missing a connecting flight! The one time I had a connecting flight in Atlanta GA was ridiculous, I literally had to run through the airport to get to the next gate and almost missed boarding!

Gees, look how excited I am, and he's not even coming to my house.

9 hrs to count down!! I am so excited and nervous I barely slept a wink, at about 1 am I had to take half of a "mothers little helper" or I would be the walking dead this morning!

I am confident that this breeder knows what she is doing but until I have him in my hands, everyone around me is just going to have to deal with my brand of crazy. My husband is home from work today, he is working out in the yard, avoiding too much direct contact with "Miss Paranoid" as he so lovingly coined me this morning.

His/her flight should be landing at 5:48 pm only a few more hours of my stomach doing flips!

I have been tracking and refreshing the page like crazy....all is going well so far.

I did that too when I had snakes shipped to me years ago now. Would sit in the middle of class on my phone refreshing a page. Even had my mother pick me up early when my burmese python baby came in:54:

HOME AT LAST!!! I am very happy with him, he is a doll. I am a little more than unhappy about how some of this played out. I will post "the rest of the story" and pics tomorrow. I am emotionally drained but he is fed and settled in for the night.
I can't tell you how great it was to smell again that wonderful Zon smell. I am with Wendy I would wear it! That and puppy breath!!
