OK so attempt two. Not my attempt The budgies insist.

I'm also getting some 320 grit, it seemed a little to smooth still.

Yeah I bought 400, it's better than smooth wood, but thinking 320 might be a better kick platform to get their feet under them.

I'll buy that too.

ok replaced the sandpaper with 80 grit. Also took out Zebra's oldest today for the first time....this is the younger one that can already stand on her own.

Head yellowish and body grey-bluish.....

She's gonna be a looker!

Might be a yellow faced blue! Don't they feel like chubby little spudmuffins? I love babies! They're so sweet. Keep handling them every day and they will be tame after they fledge.

I'm going to predict that the small baby you posted pics of today is a male and the blue one is a female. Not sure of the bigger green one yet. I was right last summer when I "guessed" the sex of six baby budgies before they fledged.

Looking at the cere I think actually exactly opposite but I don't know.

You may be right because I'm just going by the pictures. When I see light pinkish purple I see male and when I see light blueish pink with less purple I see female. If the cere is rounded, shiny and smooth it reads male. Flatter and less shiny would be female.

when can I feed them say millet? when they are in my hand?

Just a random pic drop.
