Once quiet Pebbles

Pebbles, who is normally very quiet, has been making herself heard. She has a ear piercing screech (not my favourite, and I haven't caught it on tape yet), but here are two of her other favourite sounds at the moment.

The first one sounds rather cute, if your not in crocodile country (sounds a bit too much like a baby croc calling it's mum, I'm not sure I need a mother crocodile showing up to protect it's young

The second sound makes me think she has been watching too much sci-fi (toy laser gun ), ignore the sound of my Labradore wondering into the house looking for pats (although it does remind me, he is due for a nail clipping)

Add this to the fact that Pebbles has been very keen lately to find crevices (like the gap above the fridge), and I'm starting to think I have a house full of hormonal birds...lol.

Curious if these are sounds your boys or girls have made?

That laser gun sound is hilarious! I'm chuckling at the doggy sounds, too. I'm very familiar with the Labrador heavy pant and tap dance, I've got 2 .

Neither of mine make sounds like those, though I'm quite familiar with the occasional ear-piercing screech. They do have their own cute sounds, though. Like when they are in that copacetic, chill mode. You know the one. When they're just grinding away with their beaks? With a leg tucked up into the snuggly confines of their feathers? Yeah, that one.

Well, when they're in chill mode, they make this sweet little sound like someone sleepily saying, "Hmmm?" And they do it back and forth, each answering the other with the same question, which is just the funniest thing to hear. Lol!

Yes, yes, I love it when they do that, it's like there an old couple on a porch, slowly rocking in a chair, Gizmo smoking a pipe, says "Hmmm?", Pebbles grinds her beak as she contemplates the intricacies of his question, and eventually replies "Hmmm?"...lol
