one of roy's feather are dangling..

Hey i hope u and ur birds are having a good day!
i have recently noticed one of roy's feather are dangling.. my family members literally suggested cutting it off with scissors!? that doesn't sound like an appropriate way of fixing this what should i do? (will provide an attachment)

It looks like a broken tail feather. It’ll fall out in its own or he’ll preen it out.
I wouldn’t recommend cutting it, there’s just no reason to.
It happens from time to time, especially in longer tailed species.

Second the vote - leave it. Happens once in awhile to Salty's tail feathers, we call them drunken feathers.
