Ezmerelda ate a couple habanero peppers today and then her poo was orange. The peppers were orange in color. I've never noticed it before, but it concerned me a little. Anybody know if the poo color will change if food colors change?

i have heard that diet effects poo color, if shes acting healthy and normal i wouldnt worry too much. if you want to test it out feed her some blueberries tomarrow and see if it effects it, then you'll know for sure ;).

thanks, yea she is acting crazy as always, running around on top of her cage and talking to herself and playing with her toys, it just freaked me out when she pooped and i saw that it wasn't her usual greenish color. she has her annual check up next week anyway, but i didn't know if i needed to move it up.

Yes that will do it? My birds are used to having peppers they get a dose everyday. One for each bird. That is my way of worming my parrots & they are a good source of vitamins. It is believed that if your birds don't have worms this is a good preventative. Works for me.
