RIP Hugo (African Brown Headed Parrot) 2 years old, lil Rosie May (Lovebird)
Is it safe to feed my parrot oranges and bananas? Saw it on the internet and was wondering if its safe. :)

Absolutely. I don't know of any fruits that are off-limits, though some seeds are.

Most food that is good for us is good for them.

Shucks man!!!!! I dont know why I thought oranges and banana's were bad for them - must of misread somewhere - goodie, I live in orange country so they are easy to come by. Thanks AD - two more things to add to my list of keeping Hugo healthy.

I give my Sunday conure bananas and she loves them. My daughter likes grapefruit and shares with her and she'll eat that too.

The weather is getting to you LoL. Know it's being bad weather lately, must have blinded your eyesight. hehe
AD is 100% correct, most of what is good for us is good for them.
Avocado's, coffee and chocolate is a no-no.
Hey think of it chocolate is ALSO not good for us......
Take care
