Seems they got a dangerous criminal off the streets (out of the trees?). No doubt this guy is guilty as charged:p

J/K of course! Just so funny to see a bird in the back of a cop car (though if it were an amazon, one would genuinely wonder/know a serious crime had been committed:eek:). Glad our state police were able to rescue this beautiful bird and I hope 'he' makes a full recovery:)

That is so awesome! I bet that was a first for them. Hoping he makes a complete recovery.

Aww - too cute!

In that part of Oregon, it's more criminal critters than humans anyway :p

Did they put on the cuffs?

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, thanks for this.
Yeah, I hope the bird has a full recovery!!!!
Beautiful!

Yup. There's the Portland metro area and Eugene, then there's the rest of the state, ALL small town or outright rural.

We do apparently have a diverse number of BOP species here, including good sized bald and golden eagle populations. I did some research a while back into BOPs of Oregon due to a rather large BOP who's moved into our area I strongly suspect to be a golden eagle, though it has eluded all attempts to photograph it as of yet:mad:;)

Yeah, hahah, I grew up in that rural area, right next to a BLM road :D Great childhood place and a large part of the reason why I'm going stir-crazy without a non-human companion right now

Good luck snapping a photo of the big guy! I used to see them all the time, but never snapped a photo. Do share when you manage it :)

I'm sure that turned a few heads of passers by.
Good to hear the eagle went to a good place to get better

Hmmm, very likely that poor Eagle was talked into taking the fall by a couple of Amazons. Who's names shall be held for the protection of their Human Staff. :D

Glad, that the big guy is being cared for and with hope will be returning to the wild soon.

Hey I grew up in Oregon and we believe in justice! No matter who did the crime they do the time even if they have feathers.
