Yeah it's posted so you only get to see video after you vote. Also he justs want's a beer. Also might add some cuttlebone to wear down the beak a bit.

Wow! It's so funny how budgies don't even move their mouths when they talk. Their throat feathers move, but that's it.

It is funny, I do believe it's because they don't have vocal chords. I could be wrong.

I think you are correct. They don't make sounds the same way that mammals do via vocal cords.

When he went to get his nails trimmed, the vet tech lady was taking him to the back here is their conversation;
Otto looking up at her: "Hey pretty, whatcha doing?"
her : "Taking you to trim your nails. Pretty toes "
Otto: " You want to kiss me? I'm a pretty boy."
her *blushing and smiling*

Birds make sounds the same way ventriloquists appear to throw thier voices. Some how the throat moves and there's sound. No vocal cord use at all. I think it is why they can make such an amazingly wide range and pitch of sounds.

Otto does have many cuttlebones and wood natural perches and toys to wear down his beak.
