Sending prayers and best wishes to Otto’s loving momma/housekeeper, I hope you are reunited very soon 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey all! Christine here ( Otto's mom) I just saw my friend posted this when she had my phone.. Thank you for the prayers, likes and well wishes! I'm still in the hospital and miss my Otto so much! He (his videos) has been a hit with the nurses and Drs here, every day I talk about him.
Report from family, he's talking my Dad's ear off! Pictures, Chewy and beer! lmao

Take care y'all!

Good to hear from you, Christine! I hope you're doing better and that you get to go home to Otto soon!

Thank you! I got home a few hours ago. Otto comes home tomorrow. Long recovery road ahead.
Awesome! Looking forward to some pics of your happy reunion 💖

**HUGS** Hope the healing is fast, splendid, and Otto is thrilled having you back!

Hey all, question for you. I have been diagnosed with POTS, I pass out because of heart rate and bp changes from just changing positions no matter how slow. How do I keep Otto safe and happy?
my thoughts is when he's out I stay seated or laying down. No walking with him on me or him on the floor. He goes in his house on his own anyway so I don't have to worry about that. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I would designate a birdie movie night so both of you can stay seated and Otto gets one-on-one time. Move his cage to where you can see him more often, if it's not already there :) . I hope you can find a solution. I have a friend with POTS, and she says it's a royal PITA

Agree with above. Pay close attention to your body signs. There may be subtle changes that alert you. Have a system of documentation so you can notice patterns. I briefly have a condition that causes dizziness, nausea, lightheaded, vertigo while lying down. Its like being on a fast rotating carnival ride. I have very small signs when it's going to happen. A slight pain where my glasses rest behind either ear is my common symptom before lying down. Wish you luck. Think twice + one before changing positions.

Good ideas! Thank you! His house is where I spend the majority of my time. Used to be living room but now it's bedroom. I don't have much experience with Pots but I already agree with your friend. lol

Thank you.Oh that sounds rough!! I hate nausea!!! I have noticed signs it's going to happen, it doesn't give me more than a few seconds though before I'm out/ down.
