Our cockatiel, Misty

I put up some new pictures of our new baby, Misty, in my albums. She is a cinnamon cockatiel. She is the sweetest little thing. Loves to have her head scratched. Very lovable.

Got her out of a dirty little pet store yesterday....it is such a catch 22 ... you want to get the animals out of a nasty shop...but there is no way to do it without supporting the shop.... I couldn't resist on this one, so I bought her. Now she is clean and loved.

Theres a lovebid we saw that we're still contemplating picking up due to the same thing...

You have to simply use your best judgement .... I based mine on what was best for this little bird.

The problem is that Ozzy is going through pubity, and what with the introduction of Poppy a month or two ago I don't want to put him through stress again.

Is poppy also a cockatiel?
If you got the new bird, perhaps you could start him/her out in another area of the house? It's all about what works for you and your birds.
