So for Christmas my husband gave me a rescued of Green Cheek Conures. He was told that they were unsure of the sex so honestly we didn't expect anything. They came with a raggedy cage (that they refuse to move out of, grr) and a nestbox that they liked to "sleep in". Well, apparently they liked to do more than sleep cause we have little baby conures now. I'm probably going to have to rehome at least some of them, but I'm hoping we get to keep their "first-hatched" since we've already named him Lucky. Here's a few pictures of the cuteness =)

I'm guessing the last egg isn't going to hatch, it was supposed to hatch by Monday so I'm going to give it another couple of days. But at least we have 3 adorable little chicks! It's my first time breeding Green Cheek Conures, however I do have plenty of experience with breeding Budgies and Cockatiels, so any advice would be greatly appreciated =) :yellow1:

Congrats on the new babies and hope all goes well. Love the second pic. During my first vet visit I opted to have my Molly DNA'd so that I would know for sure what to or what not to expect.

The last egg hatched today! He's SO tiny! I'm a little worried about him because of the huge age/size difference, so we're watching him very carefully and might start hand feeding him soon

Ohhh... they are so beautiful...

Please take the oldest bird to handfeed, the tiny one needs its mother...
