Painting test

I got paints for Christmas, and a couple weeks ago I tested the paints and 2 different techniques. I painted my 'tiels. In my opinion, Elvis looks better, probably because I mixed paints because I didn't have a light enough grey for him. I have to practice painting a bit more, but it looks good for a first try. I don't like how I did Skittles' wing, I shouldn't have used black for the wing outline. Elvis' crest is beautiful in my opinion.
