Confirms what I and most parronts have known for a long time - parrots are a lot smarter than science gives them credit for. Creative and observant. Traits not usually accorded the animal kingdom, or at least very few. African grey Einstien stringing words together in coherent sentences. Parrots making up melodies ( Amazons in particular). Macaws that solve puzzle toys in seconds. Even my own Salty will make up his own tricks during our training sessions, and shows a marked preference for those tricks over ones I taught him!

IF I had a pet dolphin or elephant I might have the same opinion I do have about parrots. Its no wonder that we bond to our feathered babies and they to us.
