PDD Borna Virus

Our Black headed Caquie was diagnosed last year with PDD. He looses his balance and is very stiff when walking. No issues with regards to eating and droppings. He is quite bright and doing well. However our vet has said research he has completed says Celebrex does not help however we want to do what we can to make life a bit better for him.

Any one have any ideas? We could increase his diet with Omega 3 - he is currently on Harrison's high potency. Any other anti inflammatories worth a go?

I'm sorry your parrot has PPD. We had a member last year with a positive bird. He treated with medicine, cyclosporine, ( is this the same as celrbrex? ) and found it did improve the parrots symptoms.
