Photos from visit with my baby today

I can’t believe how fast my little baby is growing! My husband and I have so much fun visiting at the breeder. Today he took his first flight! Flew from my husband’s shoulder to a perch on the wall. Then was kinda stuck as to what to do next

It’s so fun to see how he interacts differently with my husband and I. With me he loves to sit on my chest or under my chin and rest his beak against me and be pet. With my husband he likes to climb on him and play in his hair.

I’m using “he” but I still don’t know the gender yet. I’m dying to know so we can settle on a name.

Just look at how much smaller he was three weeks ago!

I can’t wait for our first bird to come home!

Awfully darn cute! The first and last photos you show certainly would be fitting for the May parrot of the month contest…

I love the baby parrot big head, beak, and eyes…it still seems like my birds head is half the size of his body, but I think it’s just feathers.
