Pinky’s recovery.
I just wanted to make a quick post to update Pinky’s status.
I think she has finally stopped plucking her feathers and it looks like they are growing back.
Not sure what has caused the change but the 2 biggest differences are the cage location (next to the window) and I try to give her a few minutes a day to groom my face.
I know that may sound weird but she really likes to groom my moustache and eyebrows. The trouble is she is very scared of my hands. I have tried feeding her treats with my hands and she just wont come close, just backs away.
Anyway I just wanted to thank all of you who helped with ideas and encouragement.
