Buster turquoisegrey IRN male, Piper buttercup IRN female. 2 Budgies who will soon be relocating to my brothers home.
So upon leaving home one afternoon, when Piper didn't want to go back into her cage, we made sure all windows and doors were secure so she could roam the house. When we returned a few hours later, Piper was just gone! We looked all over, calling her name, no response. Just as I was becoming very sad and upset, my boy Adrian saw a movement in my huge fake "tree" in the lounge, sure enough, just a little green head peeped at us from between the leaves! She refused to leave the tree and we had to coax her out with a piece of chicken lol! I have since put the tree next to her cage and she can't wait to be opened in the mornings to go romp about in her newest toy! Some nights she also wants to sleep in it, but we will still have to negotiate on that! Glad she's coming out her shell a bit again, she's been quiet since Buster died, now at least she comes looking for our company by herself, that is when she's not in her blasted tree! : )

I tried uploading the pic of her in the tree, but somehow I mess it up. Bit of help plz? : )
