Poppy and I have been having an ongoing battle over the benefits of fresh air and sunshine. So far, Poppy is totally against the idea. I've got her outside several times now, but only under duress and at the risk of having my hand amputated due to her clinging to my arm with her talons. After seeing Captian's video of Rod and Reel, I decided to bring the outside to Poppy.

I can't believe you put all this stuff in my room! I hate that play stand, do you think you can make me like it by putting compost all over it? I'm serious, see my Umbrella?

I LOVE the cookie picture! Poppy looks genuinely devastated lol. I'm glad se eventually decided she liked the flowers and greenery, but HOLY COW! What a mess! Is that a daily thing or just every once in a while??? I will *never* call Kiwi a messy bird again lol.

April, I wish I could say the mess was once in a while, but no, it's a daily thing! Poppy is a very messy girl. I've gotten pretty efficient at keeping Poppy's room clean, but she's even more efficient at messing it up. At the end of the day it usually looks like the aftermath of a terrible storm or a frat party.

That's exactly what Rocky's looks like every day, too. I clean his cage and it looks so nice for about 10 minutes. Sometimes he even lets go a big poop WHILE I'M CLEANING. Sheesh, Your Worship, ya think you could at least wait till I get done???? By cleaning time the next day, a non-parront would assume I hadn't cleaned his cage for a month.

Poppy starts at the bottom. She can't wait to get to her cage to mess up the fresh paper.

Hold on, Allee....first I have to catch my breath from laughing so hard at your narrative! OMG, that is HILARIOUS!!!! I'm literally snorting over here with laughter!

Oh Poppy girl! You are SUCH a gorgeous, white bundle of sheer fluff, and the umbrella suits you quite well.

I am thrilled to see she dug into the Crape Myrtle! Mine is still not blooming, and currently also covered in ants, so I don't know if I'll ever be able to harvest some for my fids.

All the birds went nuts over the crepe myrtle blossoms, except for the ornery quakers, they are so suspicious. Even the budgies nibbled the blooms.

I hope the ants leave before your trees bloom.

Christine, The Princess was sooo underwhelmed by the play stand, I haven't bothered with the sisal. She prefers her beat up chair and her conure size table top playstand (she looks ridiculous sitting on it). I think she may be holding out for a java tree so she can be one of the cool kids.
