Please help my Quaker is plucking.

I got a Quaker parrot 2 weeks ago and today she stared plucking and I don't know why she has lots of toys and perches so I don't know why please help.

Could be stress, could be diet, could be a health issue- did you take her to your avian vet for an initial exam?

What kind of diet is she on? Can you post pictures?

Sorry I can't post pictures but she's on a seed diet she won't eat anything else and not I haven't taken her to the vet but she's 9 years old and she was fine till now.

Heart disease.... liver failure.... kidney failure..... gout.... fungal infection.... sorry, but she needs to be seen by an avian vet!


It's very possible that she was "fine until now" because her body was slowly deteriorating from a poor diet, then add in the stress of a move to a new home, which put stress on her body, and now she's not doing so well anymore.
