1 Sun Conure
Hello.

I would like to ask if someone can advise me of a suitable travel cage to get for a sun conure? If you know the brand and size of it can you please post a photo? It will give me an idea. Basically need it for when I take my bird to the vet

Thankyou.

For vet visits and short trips I highly recommend a good birdie backpack vs a carrier. Versatile and comfortable to carry, plus you can take your bird for a walk! I recently upgraded to these and I LOVE them. Designer for birds specifically and absolutely perfect for conures.

I will always recommend the Pak-O-Bird, the most well built and well thought out parrot carrier ever developed. THe Rolls Royce of bird carriers. but to me, well worth it. When Salty is outside he is either in his harness or the Pak-O-Bird.

If you can't afford the Pak-o-Bird ($250++), you can always get one of the Mcage brand collapsible travel cages from Amazon. They come in two sizes and two colors and the nice thing about them is that they collapse flat for storage and are easy to pop up assemble for use. Less than $50. Not as nice as a backpack carrier but would work. I also have a Pecute brand bird carrier I got on Amazon, still available, for under $40. I like it.

I have a birdie backpack. Similar to ones here. I and more importantly Nameliss love it. It's good for quick trips, walks etc.

We have one Prevue and two of the Yaheetech. They are fairly similar with the Prevue being slightly more sturdy. The Yaheetech is less than 100 dollars on Chewy!
