I was cleaning out the Sun's cage and noticed a lot of food debris on my wall behind his cage. I hadn't noticed it before but I don't usually clean it, my daughter does.
It appears he's throwing fruit from the fruit bowl back against the wall. There's no poop, just fruit. The fruit bowl is war the left back of the cage and fresh veggie bowl is on the right side up front.
Now getting ready to bring Bambam home I'm worried about the that's behind his cage.
Do you all do anything to your walls to prevent the fruit/food/poop they somehow get to the wall??
I thought about clear contact paper but the U2 cage is 76" tall and 40" wide. That's a bunch of contact paper and does that stuff come off the wall easily or will it tears up the walls when I try to take it off?

Large sheets of plexiglass can be found hardware stores or online...or heavy soft plastic, like a shower curtain...I buy all my specialty plastic from US Plastic online. You could also use cardboard if the little buggers don't chew it up.

Amys' mansion is off the side ny a window and about a foot away from the wall. My living room walls are wall papered and she also "flings" whatever she likes.
Fortunately I have a small portable steam cleaner that I use to clean her house bars, and I also use it on the wall to soften whatever she happened to throw and stick there. The stuff moistens up quickly and I just wipe it off.
May be a little extreme, but it works for me

I ended up putting up some Duck Brand clear contact paper. Should keep my scrubbing down to a minimum I hope.
