So since I got my CBC last September her and my Sun, who is a year + a couple months older than her, haven't exactly gotten along super well so they've been kept in separate cages and only come out one at a time. A lot of the aggression is fear based on both parts and then slight possessiveness from the Sun.

Anyways I've been trying to get them out together sort of regularly and their cages are right next to each other so they are in each other's presence 24/7.

Yesterday I was able to have them out together pretty close without a squabble starting. The CBC kinda ruined it at the end by flying over and basically landing on Sun's back startling her but they were peaceful for a good 15+ minutes. I think aside from fear because of size CBC is just really curious and also just wanting to establish pecking order.

Anyways I just wanted to share the small success and the very first picture I have of them both together in same frame.

P.S if anybody could check out my cage post that I haven't gotten any response on yet that would be great. I'm looking for some advice pertaining to their cage situation.

That’s awesome that you are making progress! I especially love CBCs! Their colors are just stunning.

I wish I could make progress with my Quaker and GCC. They cannot be out together, I think it’s a jealousy thing as they both love me a lot.

Yeah Paprika (Prika is the CBC) looks dark in the picture because she's further away and in a shadow but her colors are beautiful. It's been such a treat watching the red belly come in. She has the blue on her cheeks and forehead and wings. Just really pretty. It was fun watching my little unripe mango Daiquiri (Kiri the sun conure) turn yellow too.

I'm sure you'll be able to make progress with your babies as well. Don't mind my picture spam, I couldn't help myself 🤭
