Purl is too cute!

Now that she was letting me scratch her head through the bars I went the next step. So as I sit in the sunroom on my laptop I opened the cage do so she could come out if she wanted to. She did and hung out on top of the cage for awhile then she proceeded to climb under the fleece throw we have covering 2 sides (ac vent is above cage area). She proceeded to walk around under it and would come out only to grab a pine nut from me and go back. LOL! Too funny.
So since getting her on Monday night..I'm at the point of head scratches and she is not too scared to come out of her cage.
As anxious as I am..slow and steady I know is right.

Does anyone else's parrots like to climb under blankets?

Merlin loves to come and snuggle under the duvet with me and my other half. We always say that he's a burrowing bird - and an odd one at that. hah

I think it's adorable. She sounds really sweet!
