Parrots
blue quaker
can a parrotlet and a quaker be in the same cage a large flight cage
they are both about 5 weeks old

Separate cages would be better and safer for them. :)

I agree. Lovebirds can be aggressive little birds. And Quakers are no chickens. You could have two friendly birds, outside of cages. But, they should always be watched. Which they should be anyway.

Parrotlets are a different species of parrot than lovebirds. But, either way, you should not put them in the same cage. You should always be careful when your birds even have contact with eachother, especially when they are different species. 5 weeks is very young. Are they still being handfed? When they are that young you have to be especially careful not to stress them, as they are very susceptible to illness. And make sure you quarantine birds from eachother when they are new to eachother.

NOOO , seperate cages, Quakers are known for biting toes, of other birds, I have proof of that ! my lovie went on cage of 1 of my Quakers & Bubs chewed 1 toe off, my lovie.
