Hello all,

I recently lost a quaker over autoimmune issues after half a dozen visits to three specialists over its short life. I am looking to purchase a new one unclipped from a breeder, preferably DNA-tested. Anyone have any suggestions?

Before getting from a breeder, could you consider rescuing a bird? There are tons of quakers out there who need to go to a home like yours. If not, I can help you find a breeder

I have already adopted previously homed parrots, and at this point in my life and for this species, I rather have a tabla rasa. Anyway, there are no adoption centers in my immediate area, and they typically do not accept out-of-towners. So do you have anything for me on finding breeders?
