The one I Handfed years ago said his first word at 5 weeks old. It shocked me!!! I didn't think it was possible...he said "Hello"

Never ever underestimate a birds talking ability, it is definitely possible

Congratulations! The average age for a Quaker to start talking is roughly 5-6 months, but some do start at a much younger age. Hearing your parrot say a new word is something that's always exciting.

My GCC said Hello tonight, I have never heard him say anything. The person that I got him from told me that he was around two years old, so they, or someone must have been working with him, because it wasnt me. It was in his gravely GCC voice, but you could distinctly hear the word!!! I was pretty excited...
