Queequeg update

Queequeg, my rescued BFA, is making fantastic progress. She still doesn't want to be touched, but she will step up onto a dowel, and now she likes to go for a ride on it. Today, she held on tightly and flapped her wings (clipped) as if flying. The second time we played this game, she "flew" and then launched herself and landed on the ground half a room away. She looked surprised and quite pleased! When Quee first arrived, she had been shut up in a tiny cage for so long that she could not even fly to land evenly. I'm glad she is gaining confidence to explore the house, even if it means I have to pay much closer attention (since she did try to eat my piano--no, I'm not over that yet).

My house came with a piano... if you'd like it for Queequeg, it's all hers!!!!!!!
