I'm so sorry. I sometimes forget, not everyone prepares more parrot food than people food. Here you go, these great recipes will give you an idea. These two are from Laura/labell and Wendy/JerseyWendy.
Just boil the quinoa in water until it "pops" and let it cool down. My 2 QP's love it in their veggie mash. BTW it's awesomely good in home-made vegetable soup

Add vegetables to quinoa, stir until mixed and serve.

Quinoa and vegetables
•1 cup quinoa
• 1 TBL coconut oil
• 1/2 cup chopped kale
• 1/2 cup carrot diced
• 1/2 cup bell peppers diced
• 1/2 cup slivered almonds or finely chopped walnuts
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
Bring 1 cup quinoa in two cups of water to a boil. Reduce to simmer, cover and cook for about 15 minutes.
