Got a 5 year female sun conure. Its healthy as heck but since 3 weeks ago its going bald on the head. You can almost see her scalp. Before I take her to the vet, I want to rule out molting or a fungus infection. Its not plucking and she shows no health issues besides her small bald spot. So is there fungus shampoo Petco sells? Anyone know?

There is no "fungus shampoo" sold at petco or anywhere else. Many times the feathers on the head will part a certain way (especially wet) that makes it look like a bald spot. But home-diagnosis and treatment can do much more harm than good. Do you see pin feathers coming in where it looks thinner? If so she may be moulting. If it's something that looks dramatic or sudden, you should take her to an avian vet. She could be scratching the top of her head excessively from pinnies coming in. Do you have any pics?
