Hello,
I am moving to california from upstate newyork with my amazon. I have been trying to find information on what I need for documnetation, ect. for entering the state of cali or traveling thru the other states.I am driving with him. Does anyone have any info? Do I just need a health certificate? dont want to run into any problems bringing him into the state. When I lived there 2 years ago it was mostly an ag check for fruit and veggies.
thanks

Check with your vet. In my experience they have the best information about it. California is a little weird about animals, plants, produce and dairy going in and out of their state - in some situations it's easier to get things into Canada. The other states are usually pretty laid back about it.

I live in texas and i drive across texas checkpoints on vacation with my GCC and they dont even notice he's in the car with me.

Yea, like HRH said, check with your vet. Here in california you can't have quakers, and they are just a little different than everybody else. (not saying you can't have an amazon because I know you can).

thanks for the info! Now do I hand them the apples or just throw them out the window as I drive by?:D
