Returning home to my baby!

As some of you might have read, I left on a vacation to France leaving Molly, my beloved sun conure, with my son and babysitter for a little over a week. I was so scared she would be mad at me for leaving her behind. I am happy to report that when I got home she was soooo happy to see me! Flapping her wings, she promptly regurgitated on me and she wanted nonstop cuddles! Yay! I am so happy that she missed me and was happy to see me. Also, yesterday she had her 1st vet check up and she is healthy and possibly beginning to molt so I will have to keep and eye on that. I also got her gender tested and will find out her true sex in a week. I don't know what to do if she is a boy lol. Here are some recent pictures of us! There is one where I accidentally spilled her "treat" seed bin all over the floor and let her have a bit of fun before cleanup.

Aww, that is so so sweet! Obviously your bond with her is very strong And what a relief to see her so happy to see you! How was the trip?? The pics are wonderful, she looks very happy to see her mommy Keep us updated on the DNA test!

France was great! We went to Champagne and Paris, they are both amazing and so historical. I will definitely update on the DNA test! I am dying with anticipation lol.

Gosh... I don't think I could stand being away from my birdies that long. Glad all went well at the reunion. I have a lil sun conure too.. my lil Booger...hands down the sweetest most adorable critter I have ever known. How God packed all that sweetness and personality in to such a lil ball of feathers I will never know. Have fun with your baby!!!

Me either...Such a feather ball of love. I have an even longer upcoming trip to Mount Everest where I'm getting married. It's about 2 weeks long. This was a bit of a dry run. After that I have another group that I'm planning to take her on for 10 days to Oregon. Both the trips were planned before I got her so that's why she isn't coming. Plus I'm hiking for several days on Mount Everest and it's too cold for her! She is the best! My baby.
