"Rolly Polly" Gilbert

I know this is 'normal' conure behavior, but never for my conure--yesterday i heard these weird noises coming from Gilbert and i looked over and saw him rolling around on the bottom of his cage. He had chewed a piece off a toy and was kicking it over him and then rolling and wiggling around, playing and having a ball. It was SO CUTE. I have always had a pang of "envy" at other conure mommies because their birds did this but Georgie wanted no part of any kind of silliness.
Gilbert is so 'roll around and play' or 'hang upside down and play'. He is my conure dream come true!!
I don't just love him, but i'm almost thrilled that he is mine!!
