Really funny and odd beaviour, be patient though! i had to sneak up on him very slowly so that i wouldn't ruin the moment for him

Lots of birds bathe on greens in the wild as it'd collect water in the rain. If birds don't like bathing, then give them soggy leafy greens and they'll likely use that to bathe.
