I was sitting on the floor messing with a treat bag until Kenji walked on the floor and headed on over, he hung out on my knee, then my hand, and back and forth. After a while I decided to try switching hands with him and found he is a right hand bird that dislikes the left hand. He squealed a bit like a pig and gave me warning bites. Well, Rosie was very unhappy seeing me be bitten and squawked each time Kenji did it.

I'm glad she doesn't like to see me being hurt, even though I wasn't in any pain at all :)

Im glad hes being so great with you !!:D

Rosie's pics are amazing! Do you have any pics of Kenji? Sierra is a right handed bird too i rarely can get her to sit on my left hand. I think my left hand is too weak or something.

That actually might make since, we tend to have a stronger arm so maybe they feel more confident on our dominant hand because it is steadier.

I to have noticed the hand preference and it seems t be your dominat hand, but I also think it could be because we approach them with our dominat hand the most and they adapt to wanting that hand maybe... I'm not so sure. But anyways that's really nice of Rosie to protect you;)
