Sun Conure flapping wings rapidly

Hello. Has anyone ever had their conure come up close to you and flap their wings rapidly? And would you know what it means?

Yes! My Yuri does this all the time. Her wings are still growing out. I think she does it just to play or practice exercising her wings!

It's normal for all kinds of parrots to do that. That's often simply a good way for a parrot to exercise their wings, especially if they don't fly. My CGCC Nelson hangs onto the top front of his cage and vigorously flaps his wings at least once every day. His wings are clipped and he can't fly well. Sometimes Nelson does some wing flaps just to let me know he wants attention or when he thinks it's time to come out to play.
