Run Free, Happy!

I just woke uo and went to call the dogs in for the night. Everybody came in but Happy. I went out to look for her and found her in the yard. They were all fine when I got home a little after 4:00. She was running around and playing. Too cold for it to have been a snake but not cold enough for her to freeze. They have a shed with heat lamps and it is only in the 40's. She acted fine just a couple hours ago. She had her shots and was wormed, can't see any marks on her......Poor Hannah, Happy was her Christmas puppy. RIP, Happy, You were loved!

My hubby checked Happy over when he got home and found a piece of bone lodged in her throat so she must have choked. She must have found the stupid bone in the yard somewhere. Hannah is doing OK about it. Happy was her Christmas present. Don't know what to do for her Christmas now. She is adamant that she does not want any more animals because I told her we can get another puppy or hamster or whatever she wants. She said no, we will just keep the animals we have. I feel so bad for her.
