Macaws conures lovebirds and a African grey
Hi I just lost my husband of 32 years. Together for decades we have cared for a flock of very old untamed free flighted lovebirds. We took in from an elderly man who passed and the birds had his entire home. They have been in an aviary we made for them with heat power etc and I have enjoyed caring for them. I have 2 macaws I have had since 06 and a sun and a grey and an Amazon. These birds mean the world to me. Being without them would be devastating. But the home is something we have to walk away from and I cannot rent. I am seeking a place a sanctuary or something that I can still be in there lives. I know that around people they would thrive. We are in NH. And I am willing to relocate and find housing for I am 63 on a fixed income and I am finding that many baby boomers are relhoming. This is really breaking my heart for I can still care for them. I would be lost if I couldn’t. I can be of help to a place with other birds. How can I find help. My husband died at 54. This was not supposed to happen. I have found a place in Florida. And will start planning I am just hoping to find a place closer. We are all safe but I am unable to stay in my home And it is very dark and depressed
