Say Hi to Poki

Introducing my new family member: a 2 months old Blue Quaker Parrot . He is the sweetest Quaker I ever met, and highly intelligent too. Poki is his name. His older sister is a 5 months Sun Conure named Mango.

Poki says 'thank you everybody'! I was planning to adopt a green quaker. Later that day I saw a baby who literally asked me 'step up?' while offering his right leg so I can pick him up. The rest is history.

Poki is still adjusting in his new home. Hopefully one day he and his sister can come out play together.

Haha yes, the temptation... If you have Sun, consider a Quaker as companion. They have good chance of becoming a good friend if introduced properly. I still cage them separately though, but next to each other. My Sun is doing less 'contact call' now, you know that high pitch piercing calls they make.
