Screaming Parrot

My australian king parrot has taken to constantly screaming with hardly a let up even when i put the cover over his cage he continues he has always been very well behaved before this but the screaming is now getting quite unbearable. He has plenty of toys which i rotate so he does not get bored of the same ones all the time and he is let out of his cage at least three times a day. Can anyone help please

I would first try to let him have more time outside of the cage and try to pay more attention to him. It is very well likely that he's just trying to get your attention. My bird does it whenever I walk into the room. I ignore him until he stops screaming then let him out afterwards. If you let him out while he's screaming he's just going to scream until you let him out every time.

Have tried ignoring him but he just continues screaming and i mean continuously he is out of the cage a large amount of the day and i am continually talking to him so dont understand this behaviour.

Maybe he's trying to tell you that there's something wrong with him? Maybe it is time for a vet visit.
