Clicker training sure played a big part in his training
Their ability to learn always amazes me

A little tip... before watching a video, press the buffing button, makes it run smoothly without any stops

What a great little guy and a lovely clear video. Thanks for sharing this Antoinette.

Cute little guy, I loved the way he turned on his back lifted his claws, and lay still, when he had been given the command of being shot

That is awesome... he is so cute...
I hope that I can train Abby to do that.

What a coincidence!!! I know that guy! He and I bought the BirdTricks.com training program and he's very helpful. I love watching his parrot perform. :D (Just shows that that guys training program DOES work!) This is another video he has. I don't know how he does it!

If olny kids would behave as well as that bird...lol, to chance the subject for just one sec, many people have asked about jerky head movements and what they mean, in most cases it is regurgatation, thought be a sign of bonding, affection or excitment in many cases, in any case for those that aren't sure about what that herky jerky chicken necking regurgatating thing looks like watch at 1:17 on the first video in the thread, it only last a few seconds :)

Mrspy at least you can get some great tips "from the horses mouth"

That video is great, loved the way the bird runs through the pipes.
So cute to see the bird going up the ladder then down the slide

Peeps has done that before as well. When he trys to regurgitate though he'll open his beak and slowly move his head up and down.(thank God he's never succeeded in regurgitating)Also sometimes when he's REALLY happy and trying to regurgitate he'll open his beak and shake his head back and forth along with his body! lol
